The Authenticity Charter

Why trust is the product.

Technology earns a place in Islamic education only by submitting to Islamic scholarship — not the other way around. Everything IslamVR builds is governed by a written Charter and reviewed by scholars before it reaches a single child. This page is that commitment, in full.

The Charter six commitments

01

Verified sources only

Qur'anic text is rendered exclusively from verified digital Mushaf data in the KFGQPC Uthmanic Hafs script — never retyped by hand, never set decoratively. Every verse appears with its reference. Hadith and sirah content carries its sourcing.

02

Scholar review before release

No module, update, or content change ships before the Scholar Review Board has reviewed it and granted its seal. The seal is revocable.

03

No depiction of the prophets or companions

No prophet, companion, or revered figure is ever depicted. No human figures appear in any sacred scene — story is carried by place, light, and word.

04

Education, never substitution

Our modules prepare for worship and deepen understanding of it. They are never presented as a replacement for any act of worship, and every module says so explicitly.

05

Age-appropriate by design

Content, session lengths, and hardware guidance follow published child-safety research. VR sessions are capped, and modules are designed for ages 10 and up.

06

Transparent corrections

When an error is found, we correct it, publish the correction, and keep the record public. Scholarship demands an errata page, so we keep one.

Process

How review works

1

Draft

Content and scene design are documented with full sourcing.

2

Scholar review

The Board examines text, audio, visuals, and framing.

3

Revision

Every note is resolved or the content is removed.

4

Seal

The module ships carrying the Board's seal — revocable at any time.

Scholars and institutions: examine us.

If you would like to review our content, nominate a board member, or challenge anything we publish, we welcome it. Scrutiny is the point.
